Karnataka State Jamia Millia (KSJM) is a State’s Madrasa Board for Research in Linguistic Education of National Importance, which has been established by Government of Karnataka Registration as per section 4 of Act 1982 , KSJM is registered with Planning Commission, Govt. of India having Unique Id: KA/2019/0226840, KSJM is Approved by National Monitoring Committee for Minorities’ Education (under parliamentary Act) Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, KSJM is registered with MSME, Govt. of India Vide-UAN Register no.: KR24E0002844, KSJM has been added as signatory to UNITED NATION GLOBAL COMPACT, New York, USA .The world’s largest corporate responsibility initiative with nearly 12,000 business and non-business participants in 140 countries. KSJM is approved by the department of directorate of Employment & training, It is a linguistic Minority Madrasa Board formed under Article 14, 15, 19 (1), 21, 26, 29, 30, 45 and 46 of Constitution of India for promoting linguistic education across the country, it is an ISO 9001:2015 Certified Institution,. Karnataka State Jamia Millia is an autonomous body which is established for development of education under the guidelines of National Education Policy 1986, and Programme of Action 1992, Govt. of India. The prime objective of the board is to extend help and all support to the students of Muslim Minority Community and weaker section of the Society with special emphasis on girls education. The mission of the board is not only to educate the students of Muslim Minority Community but also educate all students of India who have not been able to get education for one or other reasons.

The Mission of KSJM is to “Bring Drop Outs Back to School” and “Connect Drop Outs to Formal Education” by provide Secular education to all specially for Children, girls, women, widows, people living in extreme poverty areas, Madrasa Students, School drop Outs, Madrasa Drop Out, Rural/Village youth, working men and women, unemployed men and women, unskilled youth, differently abled persons and other disadvantaged persons who because of one or any other reason could not continue their education in the formal system of education. KSJM aims is to take special initiatives for imparting education to Jail Inmates which may help to substantial reduction in crime, violence and disciplinary infractions, KSJM provides educational opportunities to those who wish to study further higher education to enhance more opportunities to get good job , KSJM Introduce Open Madrasa Education(OME) under Modernized Madrasa education In Karnataka State by adding English, Science, Mathematics, Social Science & Computer Science etc. subject along with main stream,

Our board is committed to promote and popularize education and envisaging a comprehensive Self Instructional Study Materials Delivery System that gives an opportunity to the Madrasa students to get education to provide platform for job oriented Government recognized vocational,

professional and technical courses and higher education to all irrespective of age/sex/caste/creed/religion or any sort of social, religious or economic discrimination. Karnataka State Jamia Millia is making all efforts in modernizing Madarsa education by introducing subjects like English, Science, Math’s, Computer, etc.
